Our aim is to provide the best possible training for Family and
Consumer Sciences Education majors. Fostering a love of secondary
education students in the context of the FACS content is our ultimate
goal.
Christine Moore, Ph.D.
Dr. Moore has taught
FACS in
the public school setting for 30 years. As a retired classroom teacher,
her
experience provides students with practical application of best practice
research in her HFL 377 and 378 methods courses. She is an
award-winning
teacher and curriculum writer.

MaryJane McGuire, M.S.
Ms. McGuire has over 15 years
of experience teaching FACS courses on the East Coast and in Utah. She is
currently a classroom teacher in addition to her teaching assignment at
BYU. She is considered an expert in the
TLC program. She is well qualified to teach the FACS SecEd 276R course and
supervise student teachers.

Marci Morgan, B.S.
Mrs. Morgan comes to BYU as a
well-qualified teacher. She has taught for 5 years in Jordan School District
and is known for her curricular innovations and creative teaching style in the
FACS arena. She has received awards for her innovation. She supervises student
teachers and conducts student teaching seminars.
